• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From 40 thick siltstone of Phroso Siltstone, overlain by 180 ft thick Vega Siltstone. AGE: Dienerian Zone, Sverdrupi zone. LITHOSTRATIGRAPHY: Sulphur Mountain Formation, Vega Phroso Member. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: 60 ft above base of section within 40 ft siltstone, whose top is 73 ft above base.

Environment/lithology: marine; lithified, dolomitic, argillaceous, calcareous, carbonaceous siltstone and lithified, shelly/skeletal limestone

• ENVIRONMENT: No environmental data reported in text.
• SPECIFIC LITHOLOGY: Siltstone and minor bioclastic limestone, siltstone, quartzose, dolomitic, carbonaceous-argillaceous, and very calcareous in part; limestone consists of fragmented, recrystalized shells, forming lenticular beds. LITHIFICATION: Lithification, based on age, and lithology description (dolomitic, very calcareous, recrystalized).
